Picture an old poster-board; full of the remnants of old posters, fliers and tags, the tacks, blue-tac, pins, staples and tape that had been used to put them up on it, and picure me having a major EUREKA-moment in front of it.
As I stood there I discovered it was the perfect visual metaphoar for the cycle of all design; nothing is permanent, one idea is replaced by another, for better or worse. You toil and sweat to make one thing, only to have it be replaced by something else.
I chose to incorporate this into my own visual identity by making five layers of the letters making up my name and ripping them down to create new interesting letter-forms.
