The News

Well, do you? I branded and produced all the materials for this series of events, that questioned the lonely consumption of news. Providing a platform where watching the news is a participatory, social event.

Since the subject matter was strong on satire of traditional news outlets, I worked closely with the curator to produce what is basically a tabloid. The tabloid functioned as the schedule for the string of evenings, and as the catalogue, containing additional info about the content displayed at the events. This tabloid style then became the basis for the look and feel of the rest of the event.

Working for B.L.A.D. I’ve picked up a lot of tricks regarding sleazy tabloid layouts, in particular the issues Muscle Temple and The Complete Guide to Mushrooms.
